Pac-12 could play only conference football games

Move could become popular across college sports
Colorado running back Alex Fontenot, front, is pulled down after a short gain by Stanford cornerback Ethan Bonner in the first half of a Pac-12 game last season. It’s possible the Pac-12 could play a schedule made up only of conference games in 2020.
The Pac-12 has discussed the possibility of moving to an 11-game, all-conference schedule this year amid the unprecedented uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, USC coach Clay Helton says.
Stanford coach David Shaw also says he doesn’t necessarily agree with NCAA President Mark Emmert’s belief that college campuses should be open for college sports to resume.
